Join us on a private tour that weaves together history, faith, and art. We’re heading to Cerro del Tepeyac, where legend says the Virgin of Guadalupe showed up to Juan Diego four times. We head up to the Capilla del Cerrito, remembering the moment of the miraculous roses, while the guide shares the Nican Mopohua and its indigenous and Christian symbols.
We head down to the Pocito Chapel, a baroque temple built on a sacred spring, and then we keep going to the Parish of the Indians, a place that shows the early days of devotion to Guadalupe. At the Basilica of Guadalupe, you’ll have a special moment to check out the Holy Image.
The route keeps going to the Old Palace of the Archbishopric of Mexico, where Juan Fray de Zumárraga, the first archbishop of New Spain and a key figure in the Guadalupano story, lived. This is where Juan Diego revealed the image of the Virgin of Guadalupe, and here you can connect and feel the spiritual message of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
We wrap up with a quick visit to the Metropolitan Cathedral, where architectural styles and centuries of faith come together, before heading back in private transport.
