Begin by deciding in advance which songs you would like to record from your karaoke list and let your guide know the title of the song you have chosen.

You can also add your own lyrics or poems.
Please write down as many things as you want to say or feel.
Adding your own words will create a unique piece that only you can recording.

Your guide will pick several reggae/dancehall riddims (rhythms) that would fit the song and send the riddims to you by email. Let them know if the riddim key is too high or too low, and they’ll adjust it for you and resend it to you.

Rehearse well with the reggae riddim before recording in the studio. This will help the recording go smoothly and ensure a smooth recording experience.

On the day of recording, enter the voicing room and sing along to the rhythm. Your advisor and engineer will listen to your vocals and make any necessary arrangements. After finalizing the arrangement together, rehearse briefly and then begin recording.

Adjust the volume on your headphone monitor and begin recording. If you make a mistake, stop recording and resume from the point where you made the mistake. After recording is complete, a professional engineer will mix the music. The recorded audio will be sent to your email address. If you bring a USB memory stick, the audio will be saved on it.
