This very green route is divided between bucolic parks and history. From the comfort of an electric bike, you’ll follow our guide on this atypical route.

Head from the city center to Ovalie, one of the newest neighborhoods in Montpellier, built around the Yves-du-Manoir sports complex in 2003 for the 2007 Rugby World Cup. You’ll take the Rue du Mas du Jaume, which leaves the neighborhood and runs along the vineyards of the Rieucoulon estate, to join the Chemin du Bugarel, which passes through the countryside. Then you’ll go around the Terral Park to reach the banks of the Mosson.

After a break in these bucolic meadows, you’ll get back on your bike to admire the fountain of the church of Laverune and visit the park of the sumptuous Château des Evêques, a residence that notably welcomed Catherine de Medici.

Head back to Montpellier on the new bike paths through the Paul-Valéry district.

Available all year round, this ride is a real breath of fresh air.
