This tour details some of NAshville’s lesser known, but significant historical sites and stories involving Tennessee whiskey and country music. Learn about Prohibition, unexpected mixers, and distilling the very definition of a true Tennessee whiskey.

Visit the Tennessee Tower, where you’ll learn about how the Grand Ole’ Opry got its start at the site of a former insurance headquarters.

Stop for a drink at the Nashville Barrel Company Distillery for an introduction to Tennessee whiskey and the history of how it came to be. Another stop on this tour is the Hermitage Hotel, where you will learn about the fascinating history of Prohibition.

Next up, make your way to the Dream Hotel, or what used to be referred to as the “Men’s Quarters,” where men could satisfy countless indulgent vices. As we make our way towards the end of the tour, explore Printer’s Alley, which was a publishing hub by day, but mayhem at night.
