Escape the crowds of the Costa del Sol and step into a hidden paradise: an organic hillside vineyard and olive grove wrapped around a small family home, 400 metres above the Mediterranean. From here you can enjoy sweeping sea views and, on clear days, even see the mountains of Africa on the horizon.

As you arrive, you’ll be greeted by vines, olive trees, orange and lemon trees, plus a few friendly residents: a goat, chickens, a very sweet dog and some curious cats. It feels more like visiting a private country estate than a commercial winery.

You’ll start with a relaxed walk among the organic vines and trees, breathing pure air while your host shares fun, easy-to-follow stories about how these wines and oils are made. Then it’s time to sit at a beautifully prepared table for the main event: an exclusive guided tasting of five organic wines and two organic extra virgin olive oils.

The wines are crafted in a natural, low-intervention style with no added sulphites, using native yeasts and small-batch methods. You’ll usually taste a mix of whites, rosés and reds, plus, depending on the season, some special styles such as vermouth, orange wine or sparkling wine.

Alongside the wines and oils you’ll enjoy a generous spread of local tapas: Ibérico cold cuts, artisan Málaga cheeses, Spanish tortilla, olives, crisps and other snacks, all carefully chosen to match the flavours in your glass. The table looks fantastic and feels festive, yet the atmosphere stays relaxed and unpretentious – it’s about pleasure, not protocol.

The two olive oils are a highlight on their own: one made from Picual olives, intense and peppery, and another blending Manzanilla and Arbequina for a softer, more aromatic profile. Tasting them side by side with bread and tapas is a mini masterclass in Andalusian olive oil.

Group sizes are kept small and intimate, with a maximum of 14 people, so there is plenty of time to ask questions, take photos and simply soak up the magic of the place. If the weather turns, there is a covered area in the vineyard and the option to move the tasting inside the cosy family house, so rain is never a reason to cancel your experience.

The meeting point is directly at the vineyard near Mijas, easy to reach with Uber, Cabify or Bolt. Most guests take a quick 20-minute ride from Málaga or the main coastal towns, which usually costs around €20 per car each way. Full directions and the exact address are provided with your booking, and the team is happy to help you organise transport if needed.

By the end of the evening you will have lived a complete sensory experience – landscape, aromas, flavours and stories – and many guests tell us it was the most memorable evening of their trip to the Costa del Sol.
