Located in the heart of the Luberon regional nature park, in a UNESCO geopark, the Domaine du Moulin Saint Augustin is a farmhouse dating back to the IXᵉ century. During this guided tour, you’ll discover the evolution of this place, from a medieval flour mill to a modern olive-growing estate.

Your visit begins with a stroll along the old bypass canal, essential to the mill’s historic operation. You’ll understand the crucial role played by the Calavon valley in regional development. Next, we stop in front of the Provencal pigeon house, an emblematic agricultural symbol, before delving into the building’s architectural history.
Explore the different stages in its evolution: from mill, to silkworm farm, to olive estate surrounded by olive groves. You’ll also visit the store where the remains of the old mill are preserved, and discover the old hydraulic systems.

The visit ends with a convivial tasting of our olive oils, produced from the local variety of aglandau. Depending on the harvest period, you’ll taste a fruité vert or fruité mûr, revealing the unique flavors of Provence.
