Commence your journey in our sugar cane patch and your guide takes you on a brief historic journey into the pioneering days of the sugar cane farmers in the Mackay region. Step into our miniature sugar mill where you’ll sample fresh juice extracted from sugar cane, and be immersed into the process of how that juice is turned into sugar. The tour includes tastings of the liqueur products, chutneys, relishes and sauces, non-alcoholic ginger beer, and freshly spun fairy floss.

Follow this up with our Rum Distillery tour and learn how our distilled cane spirit that go into creating our award-winning small-batch rum and liqueurs. This tour includes tastings of our rum products not included on our regular Sugar tour!

All tours are conducted in the working mini replica mill at the Sarina Sugar Shed. The machinery replicates the process of a full-scale mill. Tours to the full-scale Plane Creek Mill situated next door are not offered.
