Atelier des Lumières invites the public to rediscover the immersive ‘Van Gogh’ exhibition, which has already won over more than 1.5 million visitors. A brand
new edition awaits visitors, punctuated by a revamped soundtrack, reinterpreted chapters and new animations, for an even more dynamic and immersive experience. From the fields of sunflowers to the starry nights of Arles,
Van Gogh’s work is revealed from a new angle, more vibrant, more intense, and as deeply moving as ever.

The immersive ‘Van Gogh’ experience invites visitors to rediscover the major stages in the painter’s artistic life. His monumental paintings take over the exhibition space, revealing the expressive power of his gestures and the emotional depth of his palette. Through visual and musical creation, this immersion pays tribute to an artist who knew how to transform pain into beauty.

Housed in a former foundry in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, Atelier des lumières is the first immersive centre to be built in the Paris region. With its impressive volumes, raw walls and industrial atmosphere, the site provides a striking backdrop for Van Gogh’s works. Thanks to cutting-edge technology – 360°
projections and very high-definition videos – the experience transforms the painting into a space, and the viewer into an emotion.

Between two screenings of ‘Van Gogh” there is a short programme focusing
on Japanese art. ‘Dreamed Japan” offers visitors a journey into the Japan of the
collective imagination—the Japan of the geishas, samurai warriors, and spirits.
