Begin outside on the Parvis, where your teacher or certified guide brings to life the cathedral’s iconic façade, explaining the stories carved into the three great portals, the drama behind the Gallery of Kings, and how the flying buttresses transformed Gothic architecture.

Then step inside the Notre-Dame interior, reopened after the 2019 fire. Beneath soaring ribbed vaults and dazzling stained glass windows, learn how this cathedral became the heart of Parisian faith and culture. Hear stories of Napoleon’s coronation, the relics once kept here—including the Crown of Thorns—and Victor Hugo’s role in saving the cathedral.
