Full description
Experience Buffalo Bill’s House, the famous film location used in the 1991 5-time Academy Award winning film “The Silence of the Lambs” with a 2 hour guided tour of the house & 2-acre river front property.

This captivating experience is perfect for film buffs, pop culture aficionados & historians alike! Tour guests will learn dozens of unique stories & factoids from filming (most have not been made available to the public!), as well as dive into the 115 year old Victorian home’s history, dating back to the late 1800s!

Have your picture taken peering out the front door like Buffalo Bill, step inside the foyer where Buffalo Bill lures Clarice into, and the iconic dining room where Clarice questions Jame Gumb while he’s searching for business cards in the top drawer of the built-in curio (which still exists).

The dining room is also the scene where Clarice first comes into contact with a death’s-head moth that landed on some sewing apparatus. She realizes it’s Buffalo Bill and draws her firearm on him! As Buffalo Bill throws the business cards up in the air and runs into the kitchen to grab his pistol, and retreats to the basement with Clarice in hot pursuit down the basement stairs! Cosplay as Clarice with our provided replica green wool jacket and FBI badge.

Explore the kitchen where Buffalo Bill grabs his gun and where the hot pursuit ensues between Clarice & Buffalo Bill down the basement stairs.

Explore the interactive workshop set in the basement, complete with a vintage Singer sewing machine, the American flag, full-length mirror, mannequins dressed in vintage 80’s outfits, a kimono, and fully functional disco ball.

As you enter the basement motion activated speakers will start playing Goodbye Horses. The haunting song, by artist Q Lazzarus, is now infamous with the Buffalo Bill dance scene. Make sure you “get your tuck on” and cosplay with the provided kimono and wig! This is a killer opportunity for photos & videos!

We’ve also built an interactive well set built in partnership with renowned horror special effects artist Tom Savini and Emmy-nominated FX artist Jerry Gergely, the lead designer. Gergely has worked on various projects, including ‘Silence of the Lambs’, and is also the Technical Director of the Tom Savini Special Make-Up Effects Program at the Douglas Education Center in Monessen, PA.

We will also provide some fascinating history of our 1910 home and our late 1800’s 3-car garage. You’ll be surprised what our 3-car garage used to be!
