“Find joy, awe, and wonder walking through the woods on a snow-covered volcano, This guided snowshoe tour picks you up at your hotel then goes to the Tilly Jane Sno-Park where we’ll park, strap on snowshoes and walk up Cloud Cap Road a gentle, forested ascent offering a safe and beginner-friendly adventure with big-mountain atmosphere.

Your friendly, passionate, knowledgeable guide sets a relaxed pace, breaking trail through old-growth trees while sharing stories about the mountain’s history, winter ecology, snow science, and how Oregon’s snowpack sustains the rivers below. Around midday, we stop for a simple picnic lunch of warm soup and bread in the snow before returning along the same route, descending back toward the trailhead as the forest opens into sweeping views of the northeast side of Mt. Hood.

Forget tire chains, icy roads, and guesswork. We handle transportation, routing, gear, and safety so you can simply walk into a winter landscape few people ever see.”
