At the start, hop into our all-electric Red Roadster and join a small group of no more than 7 guests as your local guide introduces you to the heart of Washington, DC. Begin your journey on the National Mall, where historic LGBTQIA+ protests and Pride events took place, including the 1965 pickets led by the Mattachine Society.
Then, ride past the White House, Capitol, and Supreme Court while learning how these landmarks helped shape LGBTQIA+ rights. You’ll also pass the Library of Congress and hear about its vast LGBTQIA+ archives. While we won’t enter, you’ll learn about the queer artists featured at the National Gallery and the history of Two-Spirit identities connected to the National Museum of the American Indian.
At the end, cruise by the Lincoln and Martin Luther King Jr. Memorials, reflecting on civil rights struggles and victories. Leave inspired by the past—and motivated for progress ahead.
