The 2026 games move away from the traditional stadium setting into a custom-built, 4,000-seat “made-for-TV” flag football arena inside the Moscone Center.1 This intimate environment allows fans to be at the center of a vibrant television production.

  • Ticket Pricing: Entry for the Tuesday session at the Moscone Center starts at approximately $54, with general admission prices for the Super Bowl Experience ranging up to $79 later in the week.

The 88-player roster was determined by a consensus of fans, players, and coaches.11 Fan voting for the event opened on November 27, 2025, and officially closed at midnight on December 15, 2025.

COMPETITION FORMAT: THE FUTURE OF FOOTBALL

The 2026 event serves as a critical preview of flag football’s athleticism ahead of its debut at the LA28 Olympic Games.

The Main Event: A high-level 7-on-7 AFC vs. NFC flag football game played on a 50-yard field with 10-yard end zones

Scoring Rules: Touchdowns are 6 points. Teams may opt for a 1-point conversion from the 5-yard line or a 2-point conversion from the 10-yard line.

Skills Challenges: Passing The Test: Quarterbacks compete in a 40-second target practice with a trivia-based time bonus. The Big Spike: Linemen face the “Spike-o-Meter” to measure the impact and power of their best celebratory spike. Dodgeball: A multi-round tournament featuring mixed offensive, defensive, and special teams units. Tug-of-War: A best-of-three series contested over a foam pit.
