We’ll then head to an artisanal chocolate factory to learn about the process of growing and making Dominican cocoa, and enjoy some exquisite tastings. You’ll also explore the San Felipe Fort, a historic monument that protected the coast in colonial times and offers stunning ocean views. During the trip, you’ll learn about the importance of amber and local rum at specialized exhibition centers. We’ll end the tour by comfortably heading back to the starting point after having experienced a day full of culture, history, and Dominican hospitality.
