This area is inhabited by the Tapir, one of nature’s largest animals. As you stroll through the forest, you’ll encounter natural trails used by the Tapir for resting and bathing. The trail allows you to observe various wildlife such as frogs, birds, insects, butterflies, lizards, snakes, spiders, and more. Tapirs are most active at night, like many other forest creatures, making this walk an ideal opportunity to appreciate the rainforest’s vibrant nocturnal life.

Situated at the base of the Tenorio volcano, this nature walk offers a unique experience that ranges from 1 to 2 hours. Morning and afternoon tours are available; simply contact us at info@costaricaexcursionstravel.com
