Río Lagartos & Las Coloradas Boat Tour: Flamingos, Mangroves – Río Lagartos, Mexico
Explore Río Lagartos by boat! Spot flamingos, crocodiles & tropical birds, try the Mayan mud bath, and unwind on a peaceful virgin beach surrounded by nature.
PRICE: $11
per group up to 6
Discover the stunning beauty of the Ría Lagartos Biosphere Reserve on this private boat tour through mangrove channels and calm waters. Your certified federal guide will help you spot wildlife such as pink flamingos, crocodiles, and over 400 bird species.
Cruise about 35 kilometers through mangroves and wetlands as you learn about the ecology and traditions of the Yucatán coast. Visit the flamingo feeding area, watch pelicans and herons, and — if lucky — spot a crocodile resting by the shore.
Experience the traditional Mayan Mud Bath, an ancient skin treatment using fine white clay with natural exfoliating properties. Then, head to a virgin beach to rinse off, swim, and relax in a quiet paradise.
Finally, visit the world-famous pink lakes of Las Coloradas — a spectacular natural wonder and a perfect spot for photos.
