The experience begins with a warm welcome at the cruise port. We’ll be waiting for you there with a “Mike Roa Tours” sign. Once the group is complete, we’ll head to the highest point of Roatán to enjoy a panoramic view of your cruise ship. Next, we’ll visit the Ecological Park, where a professional local guide will explain the different forms of life within this park, with walking trails, a suspension bridge, a butterfly farm, and Mayan sculptures. Discover a wide variety of trees, flowers, and wildlife, including monkeys, sloths, macaws, guaras, and more, as you stroll through this natural paradise.
Then, we’ll head to the always interesting West End area. Here you’ll find the famous Chocolate Factory, but it’s also where locals and tourists mingle, and where you’ll find everything from local fishermen to expats who’ve made Roatán their new home. It’s an ideal place to shop, take photos, and enjoy the beach.
From here, we’ll take you to West Bay, where you’ll find one of the best beaches in Central America. You can enjoy it for free or buy a day pass at a resort to enjoy it to the fullest.
Rum cakes and the Roatán sign are always great spots for a quick photo and tasting break.
To avoid stress, we’ll take you back to your cruise ship at least two hours before departure.
