Enjoy the rich smells of the best of the rainforests of the Olympic peninsula. You will see up close why the pictures never do this place justice.

Please note: The Twilight movies were not filmed in Forks. The author of the Twilight books based some of the locations on actual places.

You will have many chances to stop, take photos, and take in the area along the way.

Stephanie Meyer chose Forks as the perfect setting because it was “ridiculously rainy” and it was “small, out of the way, surrounded by forest”. You’ll get to take in some of those same sites and views that formed the story!

On this one day road trip from Seattle we’ll also see some highlights of the Olympic peninsula.
