Meet your guide with transport in the very central Stocholm and drive outside the city to explore the lake side and its inner archipelago. After a short briefing and safety instructions you will start paddling around the island of Kärsön located in Lovö nature reserve – some of the most natural areas of lake Mälaren close to the city. It is also a very calm part of the lake where you can enjoy sceneries by paddling with a minimal boat traffic. Make a detour to some of the small islets and have an outdoor lunch on the cliffs before you paddle to the residence castle of Swedish royal family – Drottningholm palace. Admire the baroque masterpiece of 17th century (UNESCO world heritage site) from the water before you would take a walk through the gardens of the palace. Maybe there’s even time for a refreshing dip in the lake before you will head back to the city?
