Our private walking tour begins in front of the Nobel Prize Museum, where you’ll meet your guide and start your journey through Stockholm’s Old Town. As you walk, your guide will share stories and insights about the city’s history, from its early Middle Ages beginnings to the present day.
One of the highlights of the tour is Stortorget, the city’s original square, known for its iconic colorful buildings. You’ll also visit the Royal Palace, the official residence of the King of Sweden, and the Stockholm Cathedral, one of the city’s oldest buildings.
As you stroll through the Old Town, you’ll have the opportunity to admire the smallest statue in Sweden, Järnpojken (Iron Boy), and learn about its significance. You’ll also see the St George and the Dragon statue, which symbolizes the historic battle between Sweden and Denmark.
The tour will also take you to Riddarholmen Island, where you can admire views of Lake Malaren and explore the island’s historic buildings. Throughout the tour, your guide will provide you with insights into Stockholm’s history and culture, making this a truly memorable experience.
