Wimsen is idyllically situated in the valley between the town of Hayingen and the cathedral parish of Zwiefalten on the south side of the Swabian Alb. The Zwiefalter Aach river has its source in the Wimsen cave.
Before entering the cave, you will be shown a video about the geology and history of the Wimsen nature experience. The ferryman then takes you 70 m into the Wimsen Cave on a boat for up to 10 people. Our underwater lighting and the crystal-clear water make it a real experience.
Please note that you must be agile and not claustrophobic to enter the cave.
The trip through the Wimsen Cave takes about 10 minutes.
