The agricultural tour consists of a tour and a visit to two families in the community of Palmar, who will share their production and planting of products that support their families. It is a family ecotourism project where you can participate in various activities, such as cutting sugarcane, learning about seasonal fruits, birdwatching, observing agricultural activities such as banana and ornamental plant production, and enjoying a walk through the area, among others. The objective is to provide you with knowledge about the products. This is an opportunity to learn about our community and live a cultural experience. You will have fun and, above all, learn with us.

This tour takes place at Finca La Muñequita Lodge, located in Palmar Sur, Osa canton, just 20 minutes from Palmar Norte. It is a peaceful place committed to environmental conservation and the preservation of traditional culture.

We will visit the Azofeifa-Godínez family to learn about the local culture and how they use waste to minimize pollution and improve the quality of life of the surrounding families. We’ll then continue back to Palmar Norte, where we’ll meet with Doña Felicia, who will give us a brief introduction to traditional indigenous cuisine, including how to prepare our lunch and make tortillas by hand using banana leaves. This tour will give us an insight into the history of Costa Rican families. Finally, you’ll enjoy a seasonal fruit juice, a delicious lunch, or a typical Costa Rican dish, depending on the time of the tour.
