Your guide will explain the history of the Citadel of Antibes, whose construction began in 1565 during the reign of King Charles IX to protect the city from maritime attacks. Today, it offers a stunning panoramic view of the town and the Mediterranean Sea.
Picasso Museum (entrance not included – €8)
In 1920, Pablo Picasso stayed in Antibes and worked in the Château Grimaldi, now home to the famous Picasso Museum. The museum houses one of the largest collections of the artist, with over 245 works including paintings, sculptures, ceramics, and drawings created between 1919 and 1946.
